If visiting a dermatologist could be compared to visiting a mechanic, Dr. Nancy Wolfin would be the kind who breaks something under the hood just to charge you for fixing it. Although the office staff was generally kind, Dr. Wolfin herself was an absolute nightmare. After waiting over 20 minutes in the reception area, I could clearly hear her in the next room chatting on the phone with a friend about their weekend plans. When she finally came in, she claimed she'd been dealing with an "emergency." From there, things only got worse. She began making unsolicited comments about my hairstyle, calling it "gross" and "a mess" -- completely unprofessional and irrelevant to the reason I was there. (For context, I work six days a week and don't have time to style my hair to her standards -- nor should I have to for a doctor's appointment.) Then she started recommending expensive treatments that I knew were unnecessary. I later visited another dermatologist who confirmed my suspicions: it was a clear money grab. This was, without question, the worst medical experience I've ever had. If you're looking for real care, you'd be better off talking to a first grader at career day who dreams of being a doctor -- they'd probably show you more respect and honesty than Dr. Wolfin ever will.
