update: they reached out to me, apologized, and paid back the extra amount. updating my review to 5 stars for the quick fix and great service after the error, which was just a miscommunication during the appointment. the owner (i believe?) personally messaged me and emphasized that i can contact them directly in the future if any issues arise again. appreciate this customer service! The massage itself was fine but the interactions afterwards felt scammy. We booked a 1hr couples massage which is listed as $115 cash price. When we went to pay, my partner asked them to break a $100 bill into $20s for the tip. They didn't seem to understand what he was asking, so he explicitly said "can you give me 5 $20s for the $100 so i can tip?" they still seemed confused, so he said "we're going to tip $20 per person, so we just want $60 change back". they ended up giving only $50 back as change and were pretty aggressive / insistent about it, claiming confusion, and my partner ended up just relenting. i paid for the massage via card and expected to be charged ~3% extra for the cc fee. they somehow billed me $125.25, an entire $10 more. so we left feeling a bit scammed, especially since our original $20 per person tip was more than adequate given a <$60 massage pp. probably wouldn't come back for this alone

I had a really disappointing experience here, especially as a first-time customer. When I arrived, I was shown into a massage room with no instructions and then left alone. I had to go find someone to ask what I was supposed to do - whether to undress fully or partially. That lack of basic guidance felt unprofessional. During the massage, the therapist's phone kept going off because it wasn't on silent, which was very disruptive. On top of that, the walls are extremely thin - I could clearly hear a full conversation next door about a gift card issue, which made it impossible to relax. I also felt pressured to extend my session. I had booked 45 minutes, but the therapist repeatedly insisted I needed 60 minutes to address my "issues." This matched what I later saw in other reviews, and it didn't feel appropriate. Another concern: please don't comment on a customer's body - even quietly. I could still hear it, and it made me uncomfortable. Lastly, asking about pressure doesn't mean much if it's ignored. I asked for lighter pressure, but the therapist continued with a very strong approach. If a client says light is fine, even if it means not fully resolving knots, that preference should be respected. I have to physically shrugged her off to finally make it stop. I came in hoping for a relaxing experience, but instead left feeling tense and exhausted - I had to go home and nap afterward.
