The Dermatology Specialists (TDS) is NYC's largest dermatology group with 25+ locations across New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Long Island. "The doctor and medical staff here are fantastic--professional, great bedside manner, and the facility is spotless. However, I'm leaving a one-star review due to a deceptive and unresolved billing error. I agreed to a $30 co-pay and an additional $150 for an elective procedure. Two weeks later, I was hit with an additional $150 charge that I never authorized. I've made numerous attempts to resolve this over the last three months. Each time I called, I was told it would be 'taken care of,' but nothing changed. Even worse, when I disputed the charge with my credit card company, the office claimed the charge was correct. It's the principle of the matter--they took money I didn't agree to pay and refused to fix it. 5 stars for the medical care, but a huge warning to everyone else: pay in cash, or you'll likely end up fighting the same uphill billing battle I am." PS. I already tried your suggestion prior to writing this review. You may want to get a new billing manager, someone who responds to inquiries.

I had a wonderful experience with PA. Jerry Lu. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to both my daughter and me in a clear and reassuring way. He made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions with patience, and ensured we fully understood the treatment plan. His bedside manner is excellent, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. We truly appreciate the level of care we received and will definitely continue seeing him as our dermatologist.
