The Dermatology Specialists (TDS) is NYC's largest dermatology group with 25+ locations across New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Long Island. Our offices are open 7 days a week until 7pm and we accept most health insurance plans. If I could give this place less than one star, I would. What a sorry excuse for a medical establishment. The staff are cold and unhelpful, sometimes downright rude. The providers are constantly late-- I have gone twice now, showed up at my appointment time, to find out that the provider "isn't here yet" and doesn't roll in for 20 minutes. I've been forced to sit, naked, for 20 minutes waiting for someone. Whether it's poor planning or poor staffing or simply a lack of care for patients, it's a sham of an institution. An appointment at 9am should begin at 9am. First slot of the day shouldn't already be running a half hour behind. Kindness should lead, a desire to help people. You're a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. It's completely mind boggling. Avoid this place at all costs.

Showed up for my appointment at 1 pm per the confirm text that was sent. I was told by receptionist that you were overbooked and to return at 2:30 - the front desk rep was also hard to understand. Came back and had to fill out lengthy form despite two previous visits - later the other receptionist talked to me with her back to me while staring at her screen. The doctor Gary Waterman entered the room - nose ring, bracelets and very casual clothing - I have I hope an open mind - his credentials are good but his presence leaves much to be desired. Supposedly a full body check was done but in my opinion it was cursory - in short I probably will not return to your practice
