I mean, there are just no words for how beyond incredible this spa is! First of all, Carla and Sarah made my booking process so easy. We had to make a last-minute change, and they were able to move things around to make it work, which made my job so much easier. Then, you get there. Getting massages is my only knee time so it is my favorite thing to do. I've tried countless spas and I've never experienced anything as perfect as Spa de La Mer. I had Edwin as my therapist, and somehow he got all of my knots out without any pain. Even the next day, I was feeling incredible and pain-free. The whole experience of the massage was the best I've ever had. But, the real icing on the cake is access to that incredible pool. We had a cabana, and the whole place to ourselves. It was literally just the best spa day I've ever had. Cannot recommend this spa enough!!

We had a wonderful time at La Mer Spa. Everything was great--from the friendly staff and easy communication to the beautiful, relaxing space. We had massages with Edwin and Kimberly, and truly enjoyed both experiences. The massages were very relaxing, and the massage bed was extremely comfortable with a pleasantly warm setting that made the experience even more soothing. Overall, our time at the spa felt calm and rejuvenating. Before booking, I read through many of the reviews and honestly didn't have strong expectations--but I don't really understand the negative ones. Regarding the train noise: this is NYC, so it's to be expected. It wasn't loud at all--in fact, we found it oddly relaxing. A few helpful notes: they do have hair dryers, you just need to ask at reception. The changing room is well-stocked with Diptyque shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body creams, and Marvis toothpaste. If you're booking a massage, you can also ask the receptionist about reserving a cabana (it's available for 90 minutes and stated in the email confirmation). The pool area is beautiful and very clean, and we were welcomed with a complimentary green juice, which was a nice touch. Overall, the pricing feels average for this level of service and hotel experience. We'd be very happy to return.
