I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Israeli about 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 43 years old. My biopsy revealed two different types of cancer, along with mirror-image solid masses in both breasts. It was an incredibly overwhelming and frightening time. From our very first meeting, Dr. Israeli was more than just a plastic surgeon, he provided a sense of calm, grounding, and safety when I needed it most. He took the time to compassionately explain every detail, carefully walking me through my options and helping me make decisions that were truly individualized to me.
