Park Plaza Dermatology brings expert skin care to Norwood and the northwest Bronx. Founded and led by board-certified dermatologist Pinkas E. Lebovits, MD, our Grand Concourse office offers medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for patients of every age. I would caution others, particularly parents of children of color, to consider this before choosing this practice. I brought my son to see this doctor for a rash on his elbows. My son is mixed with melanated skin , and the doctor is a white Jewish woman. While I initially had no concerns about this, the visit raised several issues that warrant attention. During the examination, the doctor did not physically examine my son. She just stood in front of him while asking questions but never actually touched him. Despite my explanations about my son's autism and his difficulty providing accurate responses, she repeatedly directed questions to him that I had already answered. This approach was not only inefficient but also disregarded my input as his parent. The doctor also asked if I change my son's socks daily, a question that seemed irrelevant and somewhat offensive cause his feet were not the issue. Her demeanor throughout the visit was cold and dismissive, which added to the overall negative experience. Lastly, she prescribed a body wash that turned my son's washcloth from grey to pink after just one use!!! I immediately discontinued using it. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I will NEVER take my child back there. Zero Stars 0

I felt like the staff really cared about my concerns. I found them to be very knowledgeable and they were able to print out instructions for me to take home. My teenagers seen significant change since leaving this practice. Highly recommended :)
