In general, I find that many medical offices are insensitive to a patient's time, but this experience truly takes the cake. I scheduled a full body skin exam with the understanding that any suspicious spots could be treated during the visit. Within the first minute of the exam, the dermatology PA identified a spot on the top of my scalp that needed to be frozen off. However, just as he was about to begin, the medical assistant casually informed him that the office had no liquid nitrogen -- and, worse, had no idea when it would be available. Let that sink in: a dermatology office performing procedures that require liquid nitrogen did not have any in stock and could not say when they would. This is basic, essential equipment for a dermatology practice. The lack of preparation and organization is astounding not to mention the boldness of trying to generate revenue without providing the medical service. What made the situation even more awkward was that the dermatology PA appeared just as surprised as I was. He seemed completely unaware that the office did not have the necessary supplies. Watching a provider be blindsided like that does not inspire confidence. If you value professionalism, preparation, and respect for your schedule, skip Park Plaza Dermatology. Dr. Lebovitzs, shame on you.

I've had a great experience with my dermatologist. He really took the time to understand my concerns--especially excessive underarm sweating, odor, and some patchy areas on my chin--and provided effective treatment that made a noticeable difference. Professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend!
