I cannot recommend Dr. Leslie Cohen highly enough -- she is a highly skilled surgeon and aesthetic artist. As a 39-year-old mom navigating an early stage breast cancer diagnosis and requiring mastectomy, I appreciated how thoroughly she and her team walked me through my reconstruction options. But I also appreciated Dr. Cohen's willingness to give me her "hot take" based on my specific circumstances and priorities, and she helped empower me to make the best reconstruction decision for me. I am 4 weeks out from my DIEP reconstruction, and I am amazed by the results Dr. Cohen was able to achieve. My reconstructed breasts look very similar to what I had before (which was my desired outcome!), and my stomach looks beautiful. I am also amazed by how fine the incision lines are / how smooth my recovery has been. Her entire team have been responsive, empathetic, and thoughtful throughout this process. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Cohen for making me whole again!

Dr. Cohen was so helpful with understanding my options after my double mastectomy. Her opinions on certain methods and approaches matched my own based on the research I had done and made me feel completely comfortable in her hands. She gave me an overview of the timeline to expect, which left me feeling very prepared for the next stages in my treatment.
