My experience with Columbia's Dermatology Dept. has routinely been excellent. Dr. Geskin is well versed in dermatological issues and spent considerable time explaining what she believed to be the best course of treatment. She is a good listener and her responses made me feel understood.

Went for my first routine check up with this doctor and felt so unimportant. She glanced me over in seconds and told me I was good to go. I raised awareness of a scaling spot in my hairline. She diagnosed it as eczema and proscribed Ketoconazole shampoo. Saying "it will be gone in a week!" Months later, a second opinion, and a biopsy... it's a basil cell carcinoma. Maybe try taking some time with your patients? Never before have I felt more a part of a money making scheme... so sad. People should feel safe going to doctors with such prestigious reputations. Unfortunately that's not the case!
