There are some experiences in life that stay with you, and this was one of them. I came to Dr. Hooman Khorasani seeking treatment for facial scarring caused by trauma, which made this a deeply personal and emotional decision for me. Trusting someone with your face--especially when that history carries pain and vulnerability--is not something taken lightly. From the very first interaction, I knew I was in the right place. What makes this practice so special goes far beyond skill alone. Every single person I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely compassionate. Nothing about this experience felt cold or clinical. Instead, it felt like being cared for by people who truly see you and want you to feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Dr. Khorasani is exceptionally knowledgeable and highly skilled, but what stood out to me just as much was his kindness and calm presence. You feel that warmth immediately. I was nervous going into my procedures, and that fear was met with patience, honesty, and reassurance from every member of the team, including the nurses, who helped make the experience far less intimidating than I expected. Cindy, who also helps run the practice and is Dr. Khorasani's spouse, deserves special recognition as well. She is incredibly warm, welcoming, and caring, and truly helps create the atmosphere that makes this office feel so different from anywhere else. If you are considering facial procedures--particularly scar revision or treatment related to trauma--I cannot recommend this practice enough. Finding this level of expertise is rare. Finding it paired with such genuine compassion and humanity is even rarer. I trusted them with something incredibly personal, and I would not trust anyone else.

I cannot recommend Dr. Khorasani and his entire team enough! First, the office itself is absolutely beautiful. It's located in a prime spot in Flatiron and feels luxurious while still being warm, welcoming, and comfortable. From my very first consultation for a mole removal, Drew and Dr. K took the time to walk me through the entire process and build a treatment plan that met my needs. They never made me feel rushed and answered every single question I had. I left feeling informed, educated, and genuinely hopeful. Scheduling was also seamless, as the team was incredibly accommodating with my availability. On the day of the procedure, I was very nervous, but Drew and Dr. K explained exactly what to expect every step of the way. The numbing was quick, the procedure itself was completely painless, and Dr. K continuously communicated throughout, so I felt calm and comfortable. I'm now one week post-op, and I can already tell the results are going to look fantastic once fully healed. Dr. K is a wizard. Obviously he is incredibly talented, but what impressed me most was how humble, kind, and compassionate he is with his patients. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the entire care team. I'm pretty sure I drove them crazy with the number of questions I asked before and after my procedure, but every single person (especially Cindy!!) responded quickly, thoughtfully, and with SO much patience. That level of care is rare. I feel incredibly grateful for my experience and have already recommended Dr. K to friends and family for their aesthetic needs (even though part of me wanted to gatekeep this gem to myself!). What sets this practice apart is that they truly care about their patients. At every interaction, I felt like family rather than just another appointment on the schedule. I will absolutely be returning for any and all future cosmetic or dermatologic needs. Thank you to Dr. K, Drew, Cindy and the entire team for such an exceptional experience. :)
