Dr. Shin is an excellent doctor who, unfortunately, surrounds herself with very incompetent staff. The billing department issues that you've read from other reviewers are true. Dr. Shin was seeing my daughter in Hackensack. In early 2025 they moved within Hackensack, and called us to let us know of the address change, as well as pushing the baby's next appointment forward to an earlier date. We bring the baby to the new address, at the agreed earlier date, but were provided a bad address. When we called them to confirm the address, the rude receptionist on the phone stated that our date wasn't until next week. When we told her THEY had rescheduled our appointment, she maintained that we were wrong and wouldn't concede. Wasted two hours for nothing, having our 8-month-old outside in the cold rain, just to be told (as she laughed) that, "oh well, sorry we can't see you today." To Dr. Shin, I understand there's pressure from above to hire DEI candidates... but once they prove themselves incapable, it's time to rehire. They're ruining your practice's reputation.

Dr. Shin made appointment time in a very busy practice to see my 4 month old grandson. She was specifically recommended by our Pediatrician as they were reluctant to deal with his skin without a specialist opinion. Our appointment was straight on time, office staff peaceful and concerned. Dr. Shin and the resident physician did a complete exam and offered complete instructions for care, diet and follow up. We are very pleased with the care and consideration.
