Disorganized, Overpriced, and Lacks Transparency I grew up in the hair industry--my aunt owned a salon, my mother, cousins, and I worked there for years. I have deep respect for stylists because I know how hard the job is, but because of my background, I also know when a shop is being run unprofessionally. I came here via a Groupon for a Botox Capilar treatment, but the experience was a disaster from start to finish. Communication & Service Issues When I called ahead to ask about the process and pricing, the front desk was dismissive, saying the stylists would explain it. Upon arrival, I discovered a massive language barrier. No one on staff spoke English; I actually had to rely on another client to translate for me. Despite being very clear that I wanted a simple semi-permanent rinse (no ammonia/no permanent color) to cover grays, and being told the color would wash out in 2-3 washes, there was a clear lack of honesty regarding what was being applied and what it would cost. Still I do not have any issues with the hair stylist, she did a good job with my hair and were friendly. Predatory Pricing The most upsetting part was the "management" at the front desk: No prices are displayed anywhere in the shop. I was initially handed a $175 bill. When I pointed out I never received the Botox treatment, the manager became defensive and aggressive. She then tried to claim a simple rinse was "full head coloring" and attempted to charge $125. When I questioned her further, she snapped and "settle" on $90 for roots only--which makes zero sense for a temporary rinse (see pictures, you can still see the grays). The final bill was $152, minus the $90, $20 tip, and the $1 hair net that they charged me $10, it would have been a $30 - $40 service. Final Verdict The manager was dismissive, spoke down to me, and refused to listen to feedback. I felt completely taken advantage of. It is illegal in many jurisdictions to not have price lists available, and the way they fluctuate prices based on the customer's confusion is predatory. Save your money and go to a salon that values honesty and professional communication. I will be reporting this experience to the Better Business Bureau.

I live a block away from this nail salon and thought making an appointment would be easy! It wasn't and the front desk ppl are so distracted in their getting other things done besides helping getting an appointment thru . Customer service , being polite and attentive go a long way in a business.
