At first I was concerned of Gili Head Spa not being able to detangle my long 3b hair, but Maciel was able to detangle with the mask no problem! She walked me through each step and explained all the benefits of the herbal teas she was applying.The space was beautiful and the massage felt amazing. Curly girls you are safe at Gili I also could not find the entrance, but they were kind enough to take me after the confusion. Don't make my mistake!! the entrance is the black gate to the left of the residential building. Just ring the white doorbell and they will meet you.

I recently had the Face & Scalp Botanical Ritual at Gili Head Spa, and it was one of the most calming and restorative experiences I've had in a long time The moment I walked in, I felt at ease. The space is peaceful and thoughtfully curated, with every element feeling intentional. The ritual flows beautifully, botanical cleanse, halo water therapy, herbal tea pour, luminous facial, and an incredibly soothing head massage. Each step blends seamlessly into the next, creating a fully immersive and sensory experience which I loved What impressed me most is the level of care behind the design of the service (because I'm a designer ofc). It feels refined, unhurried, and deeply considered in both atmosphere and technique. Maciel was wonderful, skilled, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire treatment I left feeling refreshed in every way. My hair felt incredibly soft with volume, my skin looked radiant, and mentally I felt lighter and clearer. It's a rare kind of reset in the middle of New York I highly recommend Gili Head Spa to anyone seeking a truly elevated and restorative escape
