After completing my residency in plastic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and obtaining speciality training in reconstructive microsurgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, I joined the team of talented plastic surgeons at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. My expertise lies in cancer reconstruction using microvascular surgery, and I am highly trained at performing breast reconstruction, facial reanimation, lymph node transfer, and many other complex surgical procedures. In addition, I offer my patients a variety of cosmetic surgeries including facelift, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction and abdominoplasty.

I underwent a scar revision procedure with Dr. Finny in July 2023 and these photos speak for themselves. After, saving for a long time to afford the surgery. While my interactions with Dr. Finny were always pleasant, my experience with the practice as a whole left me feeling neglected and unsupported. I carefully followed all post-operative instructions and attended my follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, the resulting scars were significantly worse than I expected and, in my opinion, worse than the scars I had before the procedure. The outcome has affected me not only physically but also emotionally and mentally. These scars have had a profound impact on my confidence and quality of life. When I raised my concerns, I was offered a complimentary laser treatment. At the time, my mother was undergoing chemotherapy, and I was unable to attend. Now, two years later, I am back in New York and reached out to see if I could still receive the treatment. I was informed that the practice's management declined my request. What has been most disappointing is feeling that once the procedure was completed and payment was made, my concerns were no longer a priority. I understand that no surgical outcome can be guaranteed, but I hoped for more compassion and support in addressing the results and the lasting impact they have had on my life. I am sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision and understand the importance of considering not only the procedure itself, but also the level of post-operative care and patient support provided when outcomes do not meet expectations.
