2009 the year I would get a double mastectomy due to Breast Cancer. I can honestly say I was terrified. Ive never liked the idea of being under a knife. Not a fan of surgeries at all. But Dr. Evan Garfein was SUPERB, eased all of my worries, explained all the details of the procedure, have me time to think about my best options. Back then I didn't have enough extra skin or fat to do natural boobs from my own extra skin and I was stressed but he said " You can choose saline implants, so that you don't have extra cutting on your body. He let me understand that I had choices, in a time where my emotions were scrambling with thoughts about staying alive for my children, and as I entered a new phase in my life. This man was very careful and gentle and reassured me that I was going to do fine and ultimately feel amazing. BY FAR, Thee most amazing, gentle and professional doctor. Its been 15 years. And he was right! I have lived very happy &have taken great care. I recommend him Wholeheartedly. His entire staff, back when I got my procedure done in 2009 was amazing. Bedside manners on point. I will NEVER forget how terrified I felt, a young mother of 2. But they took the most careful care with me. Thanking God for placing these ppl when He did.

I recently had my breast reconstruction surgery as a Breast cancer survivor with him and after my surgery I wanted him to explain to me what took place and he was very rude and told me he doesn't have to tell me what was put in my body or what took place during surgery. It's my body and my right to know everything as a patient. He was unprofessional and lacks empathy.
