I had my keloids removed with Dr.Chiu and I am thoroughly impressed with how the procedure went: . As someone prone to keloids he gave me realistic expectations about surgery and also referred me to radiation to explore my options with preventing recurrence. He was extremely supportive with my decision to just do keloid removal without radiation and provided me with all of my options and a clear surgical game plan. He was very communicative pre-op, and post-op with all of my concerns and genuinely cares ( very rare nowadays!) I didn't feel rushed during my appointments. Appointments are a little tough to come by and booked a little far out but they have a waitlist system that lets you know if an earlier slot comes up. He is truly the best of the best.

One year ago today I had surgery with Dr. Chiu. Dr Chiu is the definition of a modern day ' miracle worker'. I saw Dr Chiu for wide excision surgery for my Hidradenitis Supperativa in December 2024 . His surgical expertise has restored my life in a way that defies measurement, a testament to his immeasurable impact of skill and dedication. He was confident, calm, and concise during every appointment and each day I was in the hospital. You can tell he not only has relentless dedication for the advancement of treatments for Hidradenitis but is also at the forefront of research and advocacy for the disease. Although my surgery was one that is very uncommon and hard to find a specialist , I would confidently say I would pick Dr. Chiu for any plastic/ reconstructive surgery needs! Thanks to Dr. Chiu, I got my life back!
