I came in for a skin check and had several concerns with my visit. The provider, Dr. Torre, rushed into the room without introducing herself and made it immediately clear she was double booked and would be moving quickly. While efficiency is appreciated, it felt like I was being rushed through rather than having my concerns properly addressed. When I requested a female medical assistant in the room for my comfort, the doctor initially made excuses instead of simply accommodating my request. A patient's comfort should be respected without question, especially since this could relate to religious beliefs or personal preference. She did eventually get a female MA, but only after seeing how uncomfortable I looked. I also noticed the office has patients watch medical assistants fill out intake forms on an iPad in the room while reciting their entire medical history. For younger patients who can use technology, allowing them to complete intake forms themselves would be more efficient and less awkward than having staff type everything out while they sit there. I understand this service is necessary for some patients, but it seems like an unnecessary use of time and resources for others. Overall, while the visit was completed, the experience felt impersonal and the office could benefit from better patient-centered practices.

Dr. Torre is exceptional. She is very approachable and helpful. She successfully treated both of my children's acne, which has now completely resolved. I am extremely grateful for her care.
