My experience with this practice has been a prolonged exercise in poor scheduling, lack of communication, and operational failure. I clearly communicated two needs when booking my initial appointment (eczema care and patch testing) yet was placed with a provider who doesn't perform patch testing. That mistake cost me a copay and time away from work. A follow-up consultation with Dr. Eldik (another copay, another absence from work) led to a two-month wait for my patch testing series. The week before it was set to begin, I received a call saying it was cancelled due to Dr. Eldik leaving the practice, with no solution offered. Reaching someone by phone proved nearly impossible during business hours, so I went to the office in person. Staff had no transition plan, no timeline, and no meaningful options prepared for affected patients; they tried to think of solutions only when I asked for it. I work in healthcare and understand that doctors leave practices; that is not my complaint. My frustration is with the lack of preparation, proactive communication, and patient support. Some simple improvements: scheduling staff should verify that a provider performs the requested service before confirming an appointment; MyChart should include a reason-for-visit dropdown with a hard stop for specialized services like patch testing (other NYC health systems with MyChart does this); and when a provider departure affects active patients, the practice should have a transition plan ready, including sourcing alternative providers within the Mt. Sinai system or nearby. This was preventable. Better planning would have saved patients like me significant time and money.

Highly regret not checking the review for the practice and went based on zocdoc reviews. I waited 45+ min to be seen by the doctor, even though I had an appointment; was mildly irritating as I had to go back to work but I get it things happen. Dr arrives, rushes the visit, and then leaves. I understand as patients we're all going to be treated as a number and the dr is prob overbooked with appointments, but the communication from the team could have been better. Healthcare isn't cheap so at least give the illusion that we're being considered thoughtfully Also, there's no way to directly contact the office/front desk, calls are routed "offsite" and they can only leave a message. This was a massive inconvenience as there was some miscommunication from the pharmacy regarding my prescription and I was unable to talk to anyone at the front desk and had to leave a message. No one got back to me after I left the message. The office is also at 104, and dont understand why it's listed as 108. it's no fault of the medical team but still.
