Northwell Health Cancer Center treats patients that require complex reconstructions. These patients often require expertise in multiple sequential microvascular reconstructions. My expertise in facial reanimation and complex head and neck reconstruction including double barrel fibula, free ALT and free medial sural artery flaps allows me to perform the breadth of complex procedures. Breast cancer surgery is moving into a new chapter. These patients should be offered the highest quality aesthetic reconstruct form. I will very comfortably be able to offer these patients the widest range of implant based techniques and autologous reconstructions that are standard of care today including DIEP flaps, stacked DIEP flaps, PAP flaps, DUG flap.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Knoble. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I underwent a double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery using tissue from my bikini line. My journey was not simple -- I had to return to the OR twice after my mastectomy. At one point, one of my breasts was not taking and had to be removed. I later had a spacer placed and then an implant. Through every setback and every surgery, Dr. Knoble was there. If he couldn't physically be present, he was on the phone and fully involved. He always knew exactly what was happening with my care. That level of dedication meant everything to me. He consistently made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained every step in a way I could truly understand, never rushing me and always showing compassion. One moment that really stood out was when he came in on his day off just to talk with me and apologize for not being there during my third OR visit. That kind of care is rare. His team is equally incredible. His PA, Winnie Deng, is amazing -- she is attentive, encouraging, and I always leave my appointments feeling uplifted and confident. I highly recommend Dr. Knoble and his entire team. Five stars is not enough.

Dr. Knobel is amazing. With my breast CA diagnosis, i had to have a double mastectomy. Meeting him and talking with him was comforting and made me feel at peace; he explained the entire procedure, offered alternative options, went through the long term effects of each and helped me to choose the best choice for my circumstances; My procedure brought amazing results which made me feel so much like myself after going through such a difficult journey; He is also quite funny and charming and I appreciate the passion he has for helping cancer patients live their best life after dx. I consider him to be family and recommend him to anybody going through a difficult journey. Adding to this is that his staff is just as wonderful, particularly Miss Winnie, his PA who I have seen post surgery and when i had a few minor hiccups. She is so compassionate and smart and understood me and walked me through some moments when i felt sad about my entire journey; His surgical coordinator Monica is also wonderful, always working with me to get me in to see the doctor even when it was not suitable. When you can walk into an office and feel like you can trust that provider, that team with your life, you know you are in good hands.
