This is an abhorrent situation. I walked in and was immediately concerned. I had read incredibly positive reviews about the provider I was there to see. The facility itself needs a full renovation: the floors are terrible, the chairs are old, some ripped and out of a banquet hall from 20 plus years ago and the entire staffing from an operations standpoint is a mess. They were training a new staff member, which is fine, but two people never thought to let me know before I waited for 2 hours that the provider I was there to see was not there?!?! They then proceeded to have one wait in two different areas in the hallway two feet from a bathroom. The first medical assistant was unable to articulate their symptom checklist and quite upset that one was not provided to me to complete. Had she handed it to me, I would have saved us both the trouble. She was then concerned that I could not email my labs and reports to her due to a system compatibility issue. She brings in the senior administrator for the office, as per his name tag, who had spent my 30 plus minute initial wait chatting with another patient who is clearly a regular and then aggressively asks me why I can't send them. Then, my blood pressure is 115/44 and it is not deemed it necessary to retake it, even after I ask and express concern. The Medical Assistant tells me to go downstairs where I wait another 90 minutes for my appointment to not see the provider as he wasn't there. My appointment was with a doctor, this is an NP (Roa) who while under the guise of being friendly, had a nonchalant air about how none of these things are his problem or concern when I expressed concern about the office and my blood pressure. This is after her insists he called my name but I didn't hear him- he said half of my name once, in a low volume - in a long hallway and then went to the next patient. Since he wasn't the provider I was there to see, I didn't think it was him. Why he didn't look to see where I was considering I had been checked and vitals were taken is beyond me. Clearly, he gets paid by patients seen. The Medical Assistant who drew my blood wasn't wearing two gloves which I didn't realize until after the fact. There were also different scented candles burning unattended throughout the clinic adding to the sense this is an unsafe and neglected situation. Mind blowing. My BP was taken a couple more times so I could ensure I wasn't at risk for a stroke (keep in mind by BP is stable and 100/70. An utter befuddling and negative experience that makes you wonder who management is and how they are functioning. Stay away- all the first time patients plan to and openly said so in the hallway as we sat for 2 hours. Columbus Medical Arts: shame on you.

There are some very kind and empathetic Doctors working here, but the inner workings of this establishment is truly sad. I came into this office to see if I have a diagnosis for fibromyalgia. I understand that multiple test have to be taken to rule out if it could possibly be another medical issue. However, the first Doctor I had an appointment with in August and was discussing my symptoms with, and I thought would be the main medical professional I would be communicating with moving forward in this process of gaining a diagnosis or not. I have never spoken with again, or had a followup. Since the ending of August I have had literally 22 appointments seen multiple Doctors and still no answer to what I first came in this clinic for. As other reviewers have mentioned this place will run your insurance up! So please make sure you know what is the reason for certain test being ordered. As well, certain medical assistant's within this company need to be educated on how to communicate with clients in a respectful and professional level. Being yelled at and having the phone hung up on me this past weekend, did it for me. After I read other reviews stating this establishment's incompetency and how they treat their clients. That is all I needed to know! Take your chances here if you want to.
