If I haven't left a review for Carrie Lindsay before, then shame on me, because Carrie Lindsay has been an oasis for me since I discovered it when I moved to Fort Greene a few years ago. I've been going to Rachel for facials almost every six weeks without fail, and Jenny for brows just as frequently. I eagerly look forward to the time at Carrie Lindsay. The space is relaxing, approachable, and truly embodies the divine feminine. Everyone is so kind and lovely. You can tell the folks at Carrie Lindsey really care about the craft. Jenny is so sweet, graceful and modest, but mentioned to me recently that she was once an apprentice under Anastasia Soare, yes... Anastasia of Beverly Hills, Anastasia the brow whisperer... that Anastasia. Her skills are unparalleled - since I've been going to get, my brows have grown to be thick, natural and really beautiful, yet have a shape that really suits my face. They had been over plucked and poorly shaped before, but now I adore them. Rachel is like a long lost sister. She takes such care and puts such tender love into her facials. Her touch is so healing, and the two of us have the most fun, silly, and healing conversations during my services. It is such a treat to be under her care. My skin is glowing at 48 - it looks and feels ten times better than it did at 38 and I dare say 28 - and Rachel is a huge part of the reason why! Carrie Lindsey Studio is such a core part of my self-care regimen. I consider it as important as therapy, exercise, and proper eating. Even when I can't do all of those, I'll still go to Carrie Lindsey. I'm so grateful to be so close by and encourage everyone to take some time out to take care, indulge pamper themselves a little bit at this accessible, approachable, caring space.

I started coming to Carrie Lindsey at the suggestion of some friends whose skins had undergone a serious glow up. Their studio is intimate, peaceful and aesthetically on point. They use products that are good for your skin and really focus on well done, balanced facials and facial massages. Which is such a welcome change from many other facial studios in Brooklyn that rely on gimmicky products and tools. When you go, absolutely ask for Judith. She had magic hands and you'll walk away glowing!
